Lullaland program coordinator

Applications accepted until Wednesday, Sept 13

Who we are:

Lullaland is a women-owned startup and our baby & toddler classes are unlike anything else currently offered in Canada. Lullaland is Winnipeg’s FIRST ever sensory class, creating fun adventures for little ones and their grownups. Our creative and immersive ‘destinations’ change every week, so families never experience the same class twice! We have a passion for innovation and for baby development and this motivates us to provide a welcoming and engaging space for like-minded grown-ups. Our popular classes help grown-ups bond with their baby and toddler while also allowing them to connect with other parents who are on the same exciting journey of early-years parenthood.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Lullaland Program Coordinator who can work approximately 15 hours a week. This person will work behind the scenes of our classes to manage the logistics and organization of the program, ensuring classes run as smoothly as possible. A lot of the role will be centered around the organization and preparation of our props. We have over 1000 unique and themed props that need to be at the right place at the right time. The Program Coordinator will be an organized, goal-oriented person who has an eye for detail and is a methodical thinker. They will have a mid-sized to large vehicle that they will be able to use for the role. This person works effectively on their own, and can not only manage logistics and transport of equipment but can act as part of a team to help set up and tear down our classes.

The Program Coordinator will have autonomy to manage the logistics and the successful candidate will be the type of person who likes to step in wherever needed.  You will be well-suited to this position if you are highly organized, love working with and sorting cute props, and get excited about the idea of working for an organization where creativity is at the heart.

Job responsibilities:

  • Organization of props - ensuring that themed props are stored or transported to their appropriate place, labelled and tracked

  • Work from our storage facility and use session plans to prepare themed props for the classes. You’ll need to have attention to detail so each class has the props they need for that week’s adventure

  • Be a sanitizing superstar! Follow our stringent sanitizing measures to ensure everything is clean and ready for use.

  • Know our props inside out and be able to contribute to building session plans to help sort the perfect props for say, frog week or an adventure at the circus

  • Transport equipment to or from our storage facility to our venues and help the leaders with setting up and tearing down

Please note this role can also be combined with our ‘Administrative Representative’ role if someone has the interest in doing both.

How to apply:

Applications will be reviewed upon submission and successful applicants will be contacted by September 13, 2023. Please email hello@lullalandsensory.ca with your resume or a summary of your related work experience.

Please be sure to tell us the following:

  1. Why you would be perfect for this role

  2. Your availability

Just like a baby’s brain – Lullaland continues to grow rapidly! We are not only looking for someone who meets the above criteria, but also someone who is a good fit for our company and long-term vision.

Successful applicants will be contacted. Thank you for your interest in joining our team!
